COUPLES THERAPY — SANTA MONICA & ONLINE ACROSS CALIFORNIA
Love frays.
Trust breaks.
But repair is how we find our way back.
For couples ready to rebuild what still matters
You love each other—
and something still isn’t working.
Every attempt to talk either turns into a fight. Or worse — silence. Whether it’s with your partner, parent, sibling, or even your adult child—you’re tired of feeling unseen and alone in a relationship that matters so much to you.
-
Even small disagreements start to feel like a battlefield . You go in wanting to be heard, but end up circling the same arguments until the room goes quiet and both of you feel defeated. It’s exhausting to keep score instead of feeling like you’re on the same team. Deep down, you wonder whether your relationship can go on when simple discussions—about the dishes or who’s doing school pickup—often spiral into days of tension.
-
When trust has been broken, it colors everything. Even if you want to move forward, the doubts creep back in: “Can I ever believe you again?” “Do you even want to be here?” Some days you feel like you’re piecing things back together, and other days it feels like one wrong move could shatter it all again. The hurt is raw, and you don’t know if your relationship can hold it.
-
It didn’t happen overnight, but the distance between you keeps growing. Conversations feel flat, intimacy is rare, and you can’t remember the last time you laughed together or felt like a team. You might not be fighting, but you feel more like roommates than partners. The silence between you is heavy, and you miss the connection you used to share.
Hi, I’m Isabella Alonzo-Gatti.
The truth is, you probably want the same thing: to feel close again.
Here, we’ll do the work to understand, repair, and reconnect—so you can find your way back to each other.
I know you’re not here looking for just any therapist. You want someone who sees what’s really happening, isn’t afraid to name it, and will actually help you do something about it. My clients often tell me they’ve tried couples therapy before but left feeling like nothing changed. Here, we won’t stay on the surface, because you’ve spent enough time bickering about chores. We’ll get to the heart of what’s keeping your relationship stuck, so you can finally start to feel things change.
I’m not intimidated by the hard stuff: big emotions, past traumas, or long-standing patterns that have been in place for years. In fact, that’s where I do my best work. I believe the past shows up in every relationship, and when we’re willing to face it with honesty and care, real healing can happen. My role is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and challenged in the ways that matter—so you can start building the kind of relationship you’ve been hoping for.
I specialize in helping couples move through conflict, rebuild trust, and find their way back from disconnection.
Repair begins when understanding softens blame—and safety starts to return.

You have more space to work through recurring patterns, stay with difficult conversations, and build momentum toward repair and reconnection. Learn more.
-
When you’re feeling disconnected or emotionally exhausted, getting away from everyday life can create the space to find each other again. No matter which side of the affair you’re on, the pain of broken trust is real and healing is often a difficult process. I can help you and your partner untangle the hurt, talk honestly about what happened, and begin rebuilding trust so you can decide what’s possible for your future. Learn more.

So often, it’s not about the fight itself — it’s about the fear of not mattering to each other. EFT helps you slow down, see the pattern that keeps pulling you apart, and learn to reach for each other differently so you feel safer and more deeply understood. Learn more.

Sometimes you know what to do and still can’t do it when it matters. RLT helps you identify the protective strategies and relational stances that take over — patterns shaped by your family history, past experiences, and the larger sociocultural forces you grew up inside. From there, you learn to step out of old losing strategies and show up with more honesty, accountability, healthy boundaries, and connection. Learn more.

When past experiences shape how you react, insight alone isn’t enough.
IFS and EMDR work with the nervous system, not just the story you tell yourself.
This allows deeper healing — within and between relationships.
